Alex Gangl

Alex joined Mercer Advisors in 2024. Previously, he was a senior advisor at Equius Partners in San Rafael before it was acquired by a national RIA. Alex began his career as an engineer in big tech where he discovered a hidden passion for helping colleagues navigate employee compensation plans and personal financial planning situations. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional, Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder and Certified Exit Planning Advisor®. Alex communicates tax, estate planning, and investment concepts and strategies in terms that are clear and accessible to his clients. He is committed to life-long learning and education. Alex is a member of executive coaching organization Vistage Worldwide. He lives in Novato where he enjoys raising his three children, getting outdoors, and playing competitive pickleball.
