Nathan Schams

In his role, Nathan partners with your advisor to help ensure your experience with Mercer Advisors is exceptional. Prior to joining Mercer Advisors in 2025, he worked at Fidelity Investments as a financial representative. Nathan holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.

He finds joy in helping make people’s lives better. As a child, Nathan’s father was injured in an accident, significantly reducing the family’s income. A family friend referred an advisor who helped them create a financial plan and achieve financial security. This experience inspired Nathan to pursue a career in financial services.

When not working, you can find Nathan playing pool, golfing, or working on a car with friends. In the summer, he spends most weekends on the river, kayaking or boating. Nathan also embraces the compassionate community of La Crosse.
