William S. “Stan” Bivin

Stan began his career in financial services in 1987, first as a broker, then as a bank trust officer, and eventually as an entrepreneur. In 1994, he founded Bivin & Associates, a successful fiduciary RIA firm in northern Oklahoma that joined Mercer Advisors in 2022.

Stan is dedicated to collaborating directly with individuals and families to help them reach their financial goals. His motivation comes from seeing his clients recognize the power of planning and the success it brings them. Inspired by his cousin, who introduced him to financial markets and investing, Stan opened his first brokerage account as a teenager.

Stan is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. He also served as an officer in the United States Navy, working in the Pentagon, and onboard the U.S.S. Laffey (DD-724). Stan is an Eagle Scout and the recipient of the Silver Beaver award. He served as president of the Will Rogers Council of the Boy Scouts of America for three years. A native of Drumright, Oklahoma, he and his wife Suzy are active supporters of their adopted community in Ponca City and their church.

Stan is an average golfer, a want-to-be chef, a pretty good fisherman, and grows good tomatoes! His greatest joy is watching his children and grandchildren grow and become successful.
