Behavioral finance, a field that has gained prominence, sheds light on how psychological factors such as fear, greed, overconfidence, and herd mentality can influence financial decisions. What is behavioral finance?
Traditional finance theory assumes that investors are rational beings who make decisions based solely on logic and information.
