Alejandro H. Aguilar

Alejandro has worked in financial services since 1994. Prior to joining Mercer Advisors in 2023, he was a V.P. and senior portfolio manager for an institutional investor, overseeing a group specializing in structured finance. At Mercer Advisors he focuses on developing creative planning strategies to assist clients in achieving their financial goals. Alejandro earned his B.A. in economics from U.C. Berkeley and has an MBA in finance from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. He also holds a CFA® and is a candidate for CFP® certification. In his spare time, Alejandro serves the local community: tax preparation for foster youth; providing essential services to underserved families; guidance for “Latinx” professionals and students; and trustee on the board of an arts nonprofit.
