Chris Kalafatis

Chris Kalafatis, a Sr. Wealth Advisor in the Regis Group at Mercer Advisors, specializes in providing service to ultra-high net worth families with sophisticated wealth and investment needs. He is experienced providing services that meet the particular challenges facing multi-generational families and entrepreneurs.

Chris brings to Mercer Advisors a background specialized in multi-family office services for ultra-high net worth families, including financial planning, investment management, trust and estate planning, tax planning, executive planning, and access to private banking and lending and private aviation and boat advisory services. He was a founding partner of MDK Private Wealth Management, which joined Mercer Advisors as part of the Regis Group, the dedicated UHNW services segment of the firm.

Previously, Chris was a Partner and Managing Director at Cresset Asset Management and an ultra-high net worth banker with J.P. Morgan Private Bank and helped establish the healthcare and life science business practice at the Seattle office.

Chris began his professional career in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served for nearly 10 years. He held multiple leadership positions during four operational deployments including Platoon Commander, Company Executive Officer and Company Commander in both infantry and reconnaissance units. A graduate of Miami University of Oxford, Ohio, he was a four-year letterman and three-year starting center for the university’s Division I football team.
