HK Hallett

HK has helped individuals and families preserve and grow their assets as trusted advisor and confidante for more than 40 years. His deep knowledge of markets and hands-on experience during periods of market stress have provided clients insight and confidence. Before joining Mercer Advisors in 2023, HK co-founded Kingfisher Capital’s predecessor firm in 1989, James M. Myers Research. He received his MBA from Georgia State University and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Woodberry Forest School. He has been active in the Charlotte community, serving on the board of Mecklenburg County Boy Scouts, YMCA of Greater Charlotte, UNC Chapel Hill Board of Visitors and Parents Council. Outside the office, HK enjoys traveling with his wife, playing golf, and being outdoors.
