John Mowery

John began his career in financial services in 1999. Prior to joining Mercer Advisors in 2024, he served as a wealth advisor at BrightPoint Planning and as a director and investment consultant at Trademark Financial Management. In addition, John co-founded a microbrewery in Minneapolis, where he was involved in securing seed capital and helping craft operational strategy, giving him a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities faced by entrepreneurs. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional, John specializes in helping clients make informed investment decisions and collaborating with entrepreneurs to achieve their financial goals. He holds a B.A. from Colorado State University and an MBA from the University of Saint Thomas. Outside work, John enjoys fly fishing, alpine skiing, yoga, cycling, and wilderness canoe trips.
