Leigh Shimamoto

Leigh began her career in 2000, focusing on comprehensive financial planning for corporate executives and professionals and joined Mercer Advisors in 2024. She has diverse experience from helping clients navigate financial and life transitions to optimizing their equity compensation. Leigh is passionate about helping people have healthy relationships with money so they may live fulfilling and meaningful lives and believes understanding her clients’ values is a critical first step. Leigh earned a B.A. from University of California, San Diego and a Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara University, School of Law. After passing the California bar exam, she became a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® Professional. Leigh is a Bay Area native where she lives with her son and dog. They enjoy the outdoors and planning new adventures.
