Marcus Cooper

Marcus joined Mercer Advisors in 2022. With a passion for financial education, Marcus partners with clients to help them have comfort and clarity with their investments and financial plan. Prior, he spent many years with Morgan Stanley, focusing on multigenerational investment planning for families and small businesses. Marcus is a Virginia native with deep connections to the state; its business community recognizes his family’s significant leadership contributions over several generations. He graduated from the University of South Carolina. Marcus is a member of Tuckahoe Presbyterian Church, where his wife serves as pastor and head of staff. In his community he works with Junior Achievement of Central Virginia, Firehouse Theatre, and the Monticello Association. He and his wife are the proud parents of two children.
